Meet Your Hosts!
Zoey Danielson is a Post Producer at Harbor Picture Company and the Co-Host, Producer, and Editor of Last to Leave Podcast. Through the show, she is passionate about championing the creatives who are often the last to leave set and sharing the stories of the artists whose work helps bring our favorite films and television series to life.
Originally from Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, Zoey moved to Chicago nearly ten years ago to attend Columbia College Chicago, where she studied Cinema. Since graduating, she has spent the past eight years working professionally in both production and post production, building a career rooted in storytelling, collaboration, and creative problem solving.
A lifelong lover of movies, books, and immersive worlds, Zoey is always searching for stories that transport audiences somewhere new. She firmly believes there's a portal to another world hiding just around the corner and is determined to find it. Whether she's producing projects, editing podcast episodes, or enthusiastically discussing the latest film release, she is driven by a deep appreciation for storytelling and the artists who make it possible.
Zoey lives in Chicago with her fiancée, Emma, and their two cats, Winnie and Wanda, who are the true joys of her life. When she's not working, you'll likely find her lost in a fantasy novel, gathered around a board game table, dreaming of dragons, chasing a little magic, watching reality television, and firmly believing that almost everything is better with a touch of sparkle.
